The Rev. Canon Rebecca Kirkpatrick
Rebecca is a priest because she believes in the transformational power of a faithful community.
Rebecca holds degrees from Mount Holyoke College and Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University. Following divinity school, she served for first 8 and half years as the youth minister and associate priest at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Seattle. During that time, she was also vicar and director of a community center that grew-out of the former St. George’s Church in the Lake City neighborhood of Seattle. Not long after, she was called by the Office of the Bishop to be the chaplain for the Episcopal Campus Ministry at the University of Washington. Flowing out of her ministries with youth and young adults, she was invited to be Canon for Faith Formation for those 35 and Under where she continues to serve in a part-time capacity concurrently with her role as our rector at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. Rebecca enjoys spending time sailing and kayaking as well as searching out farms and local markets in Snohomish and Skagit counties.
Rebecca invites each of you to join her for a cup of coffee, a shared meal, or a walk around the neighborhood. You can reach her by email.
